Storyline
A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land's fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal - an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces a battle with the invading king's successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom - and perhaps to Maleficent's true happiness as well.User Reviews
An excellent movie
I absolutely LOVE this
movie! I saw it in theaters on my 30th day and I wanted to see it again
but never got around to doing so. I based everything solely on the
commercials so I was very surprised by a lot of the twists in the movie.
It shows how she was BEFORE she became the "evil" Maleficent.
There were also a lot of scenes in the film that cracked me up, like when she would put the sleeping spell on people who annoyed her...that was hilarious just how the people would slowly begin floating away as they slept.
Anyway, great movie and I would recommend it to anyone. I cannot wait to own it! :-)
